Custom Formal Tables for Unique Dining Experiences

Our dining room featured a beautiful 8-person table, but we desired the flexibility to expand our seating to 12 on special occasions. We have always admired the unique beauty of a walnut river table. To achieve this, we decided to create custom tables with wings that would maintain the look and feel of our main dining room table when additional seating was necessary.

The entire table, a stunning example of custom tables, was crafted from two pieces of a single black walnut tree. With a single epoxy pour, we then cut the last 2-feet from each end to create removable wings for this walnut river table. These wings are easily installed by one person and latch securely into place, making it a perfect addition to any dining room tables.

A seamless transition that preserves the full beauty of the piece. For this walnut river table, we chose a time-honored tung oil finish, which enhances the natural beauty of the woods while maintaining a hard, durable finish that is food safe and stands up to occasional spills, making it perfect for custom tables in dining rooms.
